The rules for playing Footmen Wars Online: what you can expect from the game, what we ask of you, and what we can't promise. Last updated 1 November 2026.
The short version
- The game is free. There is nothing to buy and no ads.
- It is still being built, so it will change, and sometimes it will break.
- Stream it, film it and share it all you like. Don't copy it or pass it off as yours.
- It comes as it is, with no promises beyond these terms.
- Our privacy policy says what the game sends us and how to turn it off.
By playing Footmen Wars Online you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't play.
Who runs the game
Footmen Wars Online is made and run by Tin Whistle Games. When these terms say "we" or "us", they mean Tin Whistle Games. They cover the game and this site.
The game is inspired by the footies custom games of Warcraft III. It is not made by, linked to or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.
Free, and still being built
The game is free to play in your browser. It is early, so the armies, heroes, numbers and rules change often, and your settings may reset. We may take the game offline for a while, or end it for good.
There are no accounts. Your settings live in your browser, not with us.
How to play fair
- Don't attack the site, flood it with requests or try to break into it.
- Don't send us made-up game data.
- If you find a bug, tell us so we can fix it.
If someone breaks these rules, we may block them from the site.
The game and what you can do with it
The game's code, art, music, name and logo belong to Tin Whistle Games or to the people who licensed them to us. You can play it, take screenshots, stream it and post videos of it, including videos that make money. You can't copy the game, sell it, or put it on another site as your own.
If you send us an idea or feedback, we can use it to make the game better without paying you or naming you.
No promises it always works
The game is given to you free, as it is. We can't promise it will always be online, run on your device or be free of bugs. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond what these terms say.
Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or harm from playing the game or not being able to play it. If we are ever found responsible for something, the most we owe is 50 US dollars. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The new version goes here with a new date, and if you keep playing after a change, you agree to it. Questions: support@tinwhistlegames.com.
